Case for Change
The objective of this project is to review superannuation units of competency in the Financial Services (FNS) training package.
PwC’s Skills for Australia prepared the Case for Change for this project on behalf of the FNS Industry Reference Committee (IRC) and submitted it to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) in June 2018.
The AISC endorsed this project in August 2018.

Consultation
On behalf of the Financial Services IRC, PwC’s Skills for Australia commenced consultation for this project in September 2018.
The next step is to develop draft training products, which are shared online for public review.

Training Product Development
18 August 2020: The Australian Industry and Skills Committee has endorsed FNS Financial Services Training Package Version 5.0 for release on the National Register.
Final training products for the Superannuation project are now available to be downloaded (link below).

The Case for Endorsement for this project was approved by the AISC in August 2020.
Resulting changes to the FNS Training Package can be viewed in the Case for Endorsement document below.
These changes will be reflected on the Training.gov.au website on 5 November 2020.
