Case for Change
The objective of this project is to address new and emerging skills needs to sell automotive products and administer automotive businesses.
We prepared the Case for Change for this project on behalf of the Automotive Industry Reference Committees and submitted it to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) in May 2019.
The AISC endorsed this project in August 2019.

On behalf of the 5 Automotive IRCs, PwC’s Skills for Australia carried out industry consultations for this project from July – September 2019.
Consultation focused on identifying the key changes to training products required to more closely align training in the automotive industry with the skills needs of industry.
Training Product Development
Following the July 2019 and October 2019 public reviews of the Automotive Retail Service and Repair training products, we have further developed the draft training products for this project in accordance with Industry Reference Committee reviews and previous industry consultations. The training products are now available for a period of public validation for all stakeholders to confirm that the changes are in accordance with industry needs.
We will be accepting your feedback until COB Friday 6th March 2020.
