Case for Change
The objective of this project is to review superannuation units of competency in the Financial Services (FNS) training package.
PwC’s Skills for Australia prepared the Case for Change for this project on behalf of the FNS Industry Reference Committee (IRC) and submitted it to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) in June 2018.
The AISC endorsed this project in August 2018.

On behalf of the Financial Services IRC, PwC’s Skills for Australia commenced consultation for this project in September 2018.

Training Product Development
Following the Financial Services (FNS) Industry Reference Committee’s (IRC) approval of our key findings from consultation, we have developed draft training products for this project.
The public review period for these draft training products has now closed.
The next step is to develop a Case for Endorsement for changes to the FNS Training Package, which is to be provided to the FNS IRC for approval and submitted to the AISC later this year.

The Case for Endorsement was approved by the AISC in July 2020.
Resulting changes to the Training Package can be viewed in the Case for Endorsement document below.
These changes are now reflected on the Training.gov.au website.
