Case for Change
The objective of this project is to address new and emerging skills needs to service and repair outdoor power equipment.
We prepared the Case for Change for this project on behalf of the Automotive Industry Reference Committees and submitted it to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) in May 2019.
The AISC endorsed this project in June 2019.

Consultation
On behalf of the 5 Automotive IRCs, we carried out industry consultations for this project from July – September 2019.
Consultation focused on identifying the key changes to training products required to more closely align training in the automotive industry with the skills needs of industry.
Training Product Development
18 August 2020: The Australian Industry and Skills Committee has endorsed AUR Automotive Training Package Version 6.0 for release on the National Register.
Final training products for this project are now available to be downloaded (link below).

The Case for Endorsement for this project was approved by the AISC in August 2020.
Resulting changes to the AUR Training Package can be viewed in the Case for Endorsement document below.
These changes will be reflected on the Training.gov.au website in October 2020.
