Case for Change
The objective of this project is to review the Units of Competency (UoCs) in three qualifications – Certificate I, Certificate II, and Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology.
A Case for Change for this review was approved by the AISC in June 2018.

Consultation
On behalf of the ICT IRC, PwC’s Skills for Australia conducted consultation for this project until February 2019.
This project applies to the following job roles:
- web developer
- game developer
- software developer/engineer (programmer)
- software tester
- computer system networkers and cloud solution specialist
- database developers/engineer
- cyber security expert
- helpdesk and IT support officer, and
- other related jobs

Training Product Development
The final round of public consultation for this project has now closed.
The next step will be to develop a Case for Endorsement for changes to the ICT Training Package, which will be presented to the IRC for approval and then submitted to the AISC.
