Case for Change
Heavy vehicle telematics systems have multiple applications ranging from agricultural precision systems to fatigue assistance in commercial road transport. As they have become more prevalent over the years, there has been an increased demand in the skills and knowledge required to repair and service these systems and their associated technologies. Telematics systems and their associated technologies have been present within the heavy vehicle sector in Australia for many years but have yet to be reflected formally in any training package
PwC’s Skills for Australia is in the process of consulting with a wide range of stakeholders relevant to this sub-sector of the automotive industries.
