Case for Change
Project Status: The second round of public consultation for this project is CLOSED. All proposed training products are now being reviewed by the Automotive Industry Reference Committees.
Any final changes to the training products will be minor in nature.
PwC’s Skills for Australia has commenced the main round of consultation for our 2021 Automotive Projects.
These projects seek to address skills and knowledge gaps for the following job requirements which are not currently addressed in the AUR Automotive Retail, Service and Repair and AUM Automotive Manufacturing Training Packages:
- Accessory Fitting
- Battery Electric Vehicle Repair
- Heavy Vehicle Telematics Service and Repair
We are seeking input from employers, industry representatives, employees, trainers and assessors, students and other stakeholders who would be willing to share their thoughts on the skills, knowledge and training needs for any of the above automotive areas.
If you would like to be part of our upcoming consultation, please register your interest for a consultation and a PwC’s Skills for Australia representative will contact you.
