Case for Change
The objective of this project is to review customer service, sales and industry advice units of competency in the Financial Services (FNS) training package.
PwC’s Skills for Australia prepared the Case for Change for this project on behalf of the FNS Industry Reference Committee (IRC) and submitted it to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) in May 2018.
The AISC endorsed this project in June 2018.

On behalf of the Financial Services IRC, PwC’s Skills for Australia commenced consultation for this project in September 2018.
The next step is to develop draft training products, which will be shared online for public review.

Training Product Development
Following the Financial Services IRC’s review of our key findings and recommendations from consultation, and feedback from our stakeholders, we have developed draft training products for the following projects.
- Customer Service
- Employability, Leadership and Multidisciplinary Skills
- Insurance services: Loss Adjusting, Underwriting and claims
- Mortgage Broking
- Specialisms with Low Enrolments, including:
- Personal Injury
- Mercantile Agents
- Trust Administration
These draft training products are now available for public review.
We will be accepting your feedback until COB Thursday 17th July 2020.

The next step is to develop a Case for Endorsement for changes to the Training Package, which is to be provided to the IRC for approval and submitted to the AISC later this year.
