PwC has released its 21st CEO Survey: The Anxious Optimist in the Corner Office.
The report found Australian CEOs and their global counterparts are showing record levels of optimism about the year to come.
But to ride that buoyant wave organisations have some courageous decisions to make, including how to embrace the intelligence revolution and how to reduce the gap between the current and future fit workforce.
Skills for Australia CEO Sara Caplan was featured in the survey, to share her insight on how digital change is rapidly reshaping today’s workforce.
“The future of work is here. The ability to keep learning is fast becoming a person’s most valuable asset,” Ms Caplan said.
Skilling, reskilling and upskilling are vital components in the emerging career landscape. PwC’s Skills for Australia is working to research what skills are needed both now and in the future, to provide the right skills to match our job needs.
