PwC’s Skills for Australia recognises the importance of extensive, industry-led consultation during training product development work.
Have your say on improvements to be made to training packages. Following the approval by the AISC of seven projects across four industries, PwC’s Skills for Australia is seeking input from interested employers, industry representatives, employees, teachers, trainers, recruiters, students, and others to inform and shape project work which is currently underway.
Registrations are now open for a series of open forums to be held across Australia throughout February – April. The purpose of these open forums is to enable meaningful contribution by anyone interested to inform the updates to be made to training packages.
Each session will run for approximately three hours and be focused on a project approved by the AISC. Registrations for all forums are essential and spaces are limited.

What can I expect when attending an open forum?
In most cases, the forums will be held at a PwC office (specific location details will be provided during the registration process). Members of the PwC’s Skills for Australia team will be present to facilitate and capture the discussions, and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Each forum will run for three hours (either from 9am – 1200pm, or 2pm – 5pm local time). All participants will attend in person (with the exception of the webinar sessions).
Each forum will be tailored to suit the needs of the project and the size of the group. Broadly, they will follow a consistent outline:
- Welcome and introduction
- Overview of the project
- Industry training needs
- Key issues and possible solutions (deep dive)
- Thank you and close.
